“Bougie” is short for the French word “bourgeoisie.”
The term “bourgeoisie” has historically applied to the middle class, particularly those possessing economic & cultural capital.
In modern slang, “bougie” refers to someone (or anything) who is expensive, high-maintenance, or over-indulgent in an admirable, but slightly excessive manner. Touché. 

We offer two kinds of luxury Bougie Booths:
*Classic Open Air Booth: 10’x10′ footprint or custom fit to your indoor space
*Enclosed Vintage Camper Booth: 24′ Airstream Land Yacht Trailer

Printing: DNP DS620A state-of-the-art Dye Sublimation thermal printer it has some of the fastest print speeds available- in less than nine seconds!

Lighting: Two energy efficient 85 Watt LED light bulbs, dimmable & color controlled, under black studio reflector umbrellas.

Set Up: Photo Bougie’s hunky Handy Man built us a custom wooden set up for our camera tripod stand & prop table. We stained it black & added glam hollywood lights. It gives old money vibes.

2×6 or 4×6 customizable photo strip templates.
Our default print job per session is two classic 2×6 photo strips.
We will design the photo strip overlay & send to you for approval before the event.

Digital Only Booths: Not a deal breaker. But having wi-fi enables your guests to engage with our on-site digital picture sharing service.
(All guests can instantly text/email to themselves instantly.)
If we cannot connect via your wi-fi, nor our hot spot via a cellular network, we will transmit as soon as we are back on the grid. Your event gallery will also go live as soon as we have reliable service.

Photo Strip Printing: Photo Bougie has all of the internal systems to transmit data between our iPad station & our printer via an AirCastPro 3.
We do need to be able to connect to the internet via either wi-fi or our own cellular hot spot.
Please let us know if your venue does not have celly.
We can conduct a site visit if you are not sure about service.

To fully reserve your date we require a 10 % non-refundable retainer & a signed contract. We simply cannot hold dates without these two items.

We are now booking fabulous events into 2026.
We recommend reserving a your dates as soon as possible since we have limited availability. We are very flexible after that & can always make small detail changes as we get closer to your event.
We prefer bookings at least one week out from your event so we have sufficient time to design a photo strip layout, pick backdrops, design your booth & confirm details.

Yes! We will travel outside of Durango, CO for events.
We are up for adventure for the right event & will travel up to 350 miles away with our open air Photo Bougie booth.
No charge for mileage for the first 50 miles. We charge for mileage after 50 miles. Fee: $1 / mi .
If we need to stay overnight & bring a toothbrush we will need to charge an additional fee.
We might consider traveling further with our enclosed Vintage Camper photo booth. Let’s discuss

The time you reserve is the “consecutive operating time” of the booth.
We have built in our set up time costs into the hourly rate. We will arrive to set up a minumum of 2hrs prior to the scheduled operating time.
Earlier if we have a complex load in.
If you reserve 3 hrs (for example, 7- 10 pm) we would arrive to set up at 5 pm.
If you need us to come earlier in the day to set up or want the booth to shut down for parts of your event, say during a performance, we offer idle time at $75/hr.

The Airstream measures: 24 ft Length × 8ft Width × 9ft Height.
